The Western High School Alumni Association is recognized by the IRS as a 501c 3 non-profit organization with eligible donations being fully tax deductible.  The WHSAA is funded entirely by donations from Members and Sponsors.  To make secure donations using PayPal, you may choose one or more of the options listed below:


To the General Fund

The WHSAA General Fund Account is used to cover costs and expenses related to the operation of the Association, including All-Class reunion events, and this website.  Upon approval of the WHSAA Board of Directors, funds from the General Fund may be allocated to other WHSAA projects or initiatives.

To the Facilities Fund

The WHSAA Facilities Fund Account is used to cover gifts and donations from the Association to Western High School.  Past contributions have included the banner commemorating the School's recognition as a California Distinguished School.  Current initiatives include efforts to replace the old WHS message sign on Western Avenue with a new electronic sign.


To the Memorial Fund

The WHSAA Memorial Fund Account is used to cover costs and projected maintenance expenses related to the creation of a memorial to all former classmates who have given their lives in service to the community or our country. 


To the Scholarship Fund

The WHSAA Scholarship Fund Account is used to establish an ongoing fund to recognize graduating Pioneers for exceptional performance in several categories..
